My name is Scott Barrie and I am a vendor. I try to state this upfront on the forums, so you the reader of my posts know that I may alterior motives to posting .... yes, I sell things.

I run a small research firm, Commodity Futures and Equity Analytics, LLC. (CFEA). CFEA was established as a research center with the goal of discovering what makes markets tick.

CFEA provides research for both institutions as well as individuals. Current clients include brokerage houses, hedge funds, physical commodity dealers, as well as one noted stock research firm uses our material.

Our goal is to provide honest, understandable research explaining why the markets move, and identify reoccurring themes.

CFEA has products for individual traders as well. Out Grain Trader's Almanac contains a plethora of information on the grain futures, such as seasonal biases, as well as specific patterns to look for, and 19 years of historical supply and usage information at your finger tips so you can make informed decisions in the grain markets.

The Grain Trader's Almanac walks the user through the naturaul production and consumption cycle of the grain markets, highlighting various themes throughout the year.

We also produce a Livestock Trader's Almanac, which is very similiar in nature, only providing information about the Cattle and Hog markets.

CFEA and Gecko Sofware also co-write a seasonal newsletter, available at www.tntseasonals.com, which spotlights specfic seasonal tendencies in markets ranging from Soybeans to Silver, and Corn to Crude Oil.

On a professional level, I have been involved in the business of speculation for over a decade. I have traded as a local on the floor in Chicago, as well as worked for a Risk Management firm, and have been an analyst for a regional brokerage firm.

Anyway, enough of this... I post on these forums because I enjoy it, as well as for marketing. Remember, I am a vendor... as well as a person (if that's possible to be both, LOL).

Respects and congrats if you read this far...

Scott W. Barrie aka "ScottB." the guy with those annoying "cards" and "disclaimers"
