Window AC is near 1500 watts, while the centarl unit could be 3000 to 4000 watts or 4/5 killowatt.
Typical electric rate 10 cents per 1000 watts consumed over i hour called KWH.
So 3 hours @ window ac equals 45 cents.
But 1000 watt-hour[IKWH] also equals just1.35 HP, since 746 watts equal I HP.
So when you accelerate @60 mph, you got tobe drawing 200/300 HP...depleting the stored 4.5 kwh, in seconds.
Its like car's starter motor which is near 1.5 HP or say 1kw....can deplete the battery in 5-10 starts pretty quick.

So I winder How do you get the range you mentioned while consuming say 100 hp on average.

Not disagreeing...just the engineering curosity I ve by profession. :)
