Thanks, I understand what you wrote.

Eventually, however, the crop did get planted albeit a bit late.

Weather etc. looks to be near perfection at the moment.

I am primarily interested in learning to follow this stuff and separate fact/fiction and spin on my own.

Yesterday and today caught me by surprise a little.

- I think one thought was yesterdays rise had more to do with the large traders/funds starting to liquidate their net long positions.

I also did follow Observer's last comments.

But, something will happen between now and 8/12 report and I am trying to follow/understand the behaviors.

The Coral article also seemed to suggest that the projected year end stock shortfall will hold the price up even with a bumper crop.
