That was a good explaination and post!
My answer when asked on any market is very similar.

Also a demand type marker usually goes higher or lower than one would think and also lasts longer than one would think? ;)

A supply type market usually does move as big or as long?
The reason of course is:

With most things? Supply can be increased or decreased fairly easily and at times quickly?

Demand on the other hand? Is a little harder to controll?

Of course supply and demand can work together at times?
And history shows that there are more supply type markets than demand type markets. But, the few demand type markets are BIG and not forgotten very easy? ;)
