The old adage

In Response To: Re: Astro/Techncial Trading/Trades (Lee)

which came first the chicken or the egg? In other words where did it all begin or how did it come about.

We know it takes a trade to move a market. It takes a person to make that trade.

It takes a person's opinion to sell or buy? And a continued perception to keep it moving in that direction?

So if enough humans believe it will move the markets. It has always taken the masses(trades) to move the markets. Markets do not move without an massive opinion of traders.

Of course the question then arises, did they all have the same belief or preception to move it in that direction?

This forum speaks to that matter with all the different opinions and over time come together--which is a warning in and of itself that a change is coming as a calm before a storm. THe trader who perceives reality the soonest gets the bigger egg, does not mean you will not be satisfied with the smaller golden egg.

Can those opinions be quantified? In wave principles--the answer is yes, it can be quantified. Other systems believe the same thing. Even support and resistant principles agree to this fact. Saying people or masses hold this as a point of opinion. There is not a system out there that does not try to quantify human nature opinions by their Technical Analysis method.

Again showing mass agreement of direction. Moves the market in that direction as a true statement.

Yet, with many different opinions and not one single idea of belief that lends to the market theory of chaos. Or as I say, Through freedom of Chaos comes orderly agreement.

Ask the Hunt Bros. of their massive single belief of the silver market and what happened their? Others have tried also.

I do not believe oil moved up on speculators wealth--one day saying lets buy. It took a belief of a reality in the market to do that with everyone particpating.

Was speculators perception over exaggerated and pushed the market to an extreme? I think so. How much did they push the market up? I do not know, but I do not believe much.

At the bottom many were looking for 10 bucks on reality of oil abundance. Did they push the oil to the extreme of $40? Reality was another? I think so.

I believe speculators can push markets to extremes. They do not push markets without a reality perception. It takes reality to push these markets.

The farther that reality is from traders perception. The more traders are willing to take advantage of those traders ignorance of fact. Moving the markets in another direction eventually.

Government with all its power of printing money. Can push economics and nudge it. They can only control it for a time and then reality sets in. Speculators with much less power can do far less.

Many believed it was still going to 200$ and 10$ as a reality and stated many false facts. Reality-facts changed both of those opinions in short order with traders who knew the real facts. Taking advantage of their brother trader.

So for Astro trading--the question is how does it relate to human nature and can one quantify it to useable trading information?

I know a full moon--I harvest-plant-travel more at those times. For one can see better at night. Fishing and dating is affected on full moon--most likely the same reason. Also, weird wolves come out. So we know Astro's affect humans.

For me. I am convinced enough to explore it. Do not yet see it useable information(my lack of knowledge?). Others have found it valuable and useable(at least claim it so).

Even if others or myself found it not useable. Does it mean it should not be explored? It could be the next break through?

It amazes me. How righteous some get. Will let their dandruff rise over Astro, Gann, Waves and etc. Yet, they will never say a word against trading software signal systems. Which has a much worst track record. Just like moving averages and support and resistance that is older then trading.

Yet, traders use them all successfully. The masses go broke using them all.

So with all your system getting--get wisdom before trading it.
