The way to play in the options playbox is don't. It's a losing cause. Like you mentioned about the extreme premium even with little time. I've gone over those things forever and unless you are a seller of options with deep pockets it's a great way to lose money. There are times an option Strangle works well but one must wait a long time typically for those set ups of a high volatility market to become very low in volatility with an explosive chart pattern. They don't come along often. Just for fun pretend you are selling the 1200 call AND the 1000 put and watch what happens. Unless GC runs way over 1200 or way under 1000 in the next 18 days you keep all the money which is about $3000. "Money for nothing and your chicks for free", LOL.......
