The above lows are not yet final, and temperatures could dip even lower Tuesday morning.
Day-by-day forecast
Tuesday: Hard Freeze and Freeze warnings across the area in the morning, with lows in the 20s and 30s. Abundant sunshine and lighter winds during the day warm up highs to the mid- to upper 50s. Another clear, chilly night follows, with patchy frost possible.
* Temperatures expected to drop into the 40s at kickoff time for the Champs Sports Bowl.
Wednesday: Another cold start, with but morning lows in the low 30s. Temperatures slowly rebound, with afternoon highs in the low to mid-60s.
