Hi Trades,
Agree completely on the market and Si observations. Have been leaving things alone, watching things develop.
Si keeps falling back every time it approaches the high at
30.7 level. If I put in a "low ball bid" on an 18P it won't fill unless someone just decides to jump ship over night.
I'm not about to put any significant money into these markets at the moment !! This Silver thing is just a cheap gamble. If Si drops it should drop rather sharply. And, if you don't take a chance and put your oar in the water, things can get expensive quickly. At which point, I won't play at the moment.
On Cooking:
My Mom always used a warming tray for veggies while dealing with the gravy. I have always "flunked gravy" as well.
On Carving, I thought you should plate the bird, cover with tinfoil and let stand 30min (I have heard longer) before starting to carve. That should be long enough to deal with gravy and last minute stuff ???
Sounds like you had a great dinner !!
On Gravy, a cheater trick I use is to have a couple of jars of Heinz or some such Turkey gravy on hand just in case it needs "some stretching". Mixed with the "real" I could never tell the difference.
Just waiting for these markets to "dive". I have "no confidence" going long in anything !!!
Thanks, Lee
