Lee, greetings from the Land of Glaciers and Communists (Massachusetts).
Al Gore knows very well that geologists refer to the present era in which we live as the Neoglaciation. He has made several hundred million dollars on his global warming hoax, so I hardly think he cares what the bewildered masses think about the climate, one way or the other.
On a related topic, namely Z, whose head is buried in the snow at the top of Mt. Katahdin:
On May 17, 2005, Z advised his ardent TFC followers as follows:
"All markets are a sell, with out timing not being an issue as to how far they are to move downward and with what speed." [sic]
"GC/SI stocks will lose at lest 70-90% of their value from the most recent 10 year high points." [sic]
"We will see grains make 100 year lows (W at .50 cents)." [sic]
For crying out loud, these must be among the worst predictions in the history of commodity analysis. Examine the monthly charts of wheat, gold and silver to see how much dough one would have made since May 17, 2005 by following the sage advice of the illiterate, but nevertheless highly esteemed, oracle of Katahdin (Z).
