Here is a link to the chart of 17 years of the seasonal price trend for Natural Gas. The companies that produce NG don't just sit there waiting for winter to come they plan ahead and investors also plan ahead. That's what "Futures" are all about. Just like Gasoline goes up into spring long before the heavy driving season begins. Same idea. And with new technology to capture NG easily and in so many places the heavy supply isn't helping even the traditionally bullish times of the year for NG. Next bullish seasonal time as the chart shows is from mid Feb into April so we'll see what if anything occurs in this time frame.
