Re: World’s supply of sustainable cocoa could run

Hi Wayne,

Warm enough to grow Cocoa in Tenn. ???

Something isn't computing here after reading the article.

Price did jump up Monday but came down today nearly as much.

Went to the supermarket tonight before reading this. They had a pallet size display of Hershey's chocolate bars and Reese's stuff on display with the usual "special" signs. I didn't pay any attention because I rarely eat candy.

And that "certification stuff" taking 3 years to boot ....

I think the Hershey's of the world would be all over implementing a solution for something like that (what ever it is !!).

And, as an afterthought -- shutting off 40% of the world's cocoa supply should result in much more than a 10% increase in prices !!!???

Maybe there is a "Hunt Brothers" clone out there trying to make a killing in the Cocoa market !!!!

Just caught my imagination !!!
Lee
