This whole thing started with the Ronbo episode and your observation of "Max. Damage", which I think for the Feb. Options certainly panned out !!!

I was also a bit interested to see if I could learn to capture the options data and boil it down to a sensible volume and then chart it (ala R style) using the spreadsheet charts.

At this point, I'm not at all sure it is worth the effort. I am convinced of one thing though, the lack of charts, etc. etc. and what I posted on the details of expiration further convinces me that the options (for sure futures) are a bad deal.

The SIH11 sure moved right up at expiration "max damage".
Clearly the FOMC announcement same day may have gotten in there a bit, but I wonder ???
