Thanks !!!

I have some work to do on this stuff !!!

First, I was being sloppy, and looking at a daily chart, which was barely readable through 2009.

A weekly is very close(same) as yours.

When I switch between continuation and not, chart does change a bit, but remains fairly close. I definitely notice that the values of the earlier chart "peaks" change quite a bit in "value".

For example, the "first peak/high" in 2008 is 1095.6 in "normal" and 1017.4 in "continuous display". Quite a difference !!

That observation pretty much explains why Trades uses the Continuous chart for longer term charts showing longer term support/resistance. The values in the "older time periods" reflect what the "front month" contract was trading at at the time.
