Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 2 to 4 Higher as of 7:15 a.m. CST
24 minutes ago

Corn: The corn market posted a 31-month high Friday as noncommercial traders add to their record-large net-long futures position that stands at about 498,200 contracts as of February 1.

Soybeans: Soybean contracts were mixed Friday with the new-crop November contract posting a modest gain as it tries to keep up with surging corn market in the battle for acres.

Wheat: Wheat struggled late last week, but weekly gains were solid and allowed the long-term uptrend to strengthen even though near-term fundamentals continue to grow more bearish.

Cotton: The market was sharply lower -- limit down in nearby contracts -- on noncommercial long-liquidation due to overbought conditions.

Live cattle: Cattle contracts were mostly lower Friday in a day that saw most commodities struggle. The strong uptrend remains firmly in place after last week's gains.
