Thanks for writing back on this.

I understand and agree with your thoughts.

I really did not think this whole issue through before I posted my comment. I was thinking the way I use credit.

I have ONE credit card (for convenience) and pay it off every month. If my balance increases (still paid off) that reflects additional spending/confidence etc. and that is the way I was thinking.

Your point is very likely the truth. Open balances are growing and they are being carried forward at increasing interest rates - and that trend is clearly unsustainable.
