Silver

Silver is a commodity that serves as an example of "trading" futures compared to physical ownership.

Futures have a short horizon, and requires monitoring for margin reasons. The physical ownership you hold for the long pull. Boring, but profitable compared to futures trading. I still maintain a 4.35 average.

Trading other commodities, my opinion, are often better traded using a stock that benifits from the move of the commodity.. like crude (netural at this time).

There are many ways that a commodity can be traded without having to deal with margin, and whipsaw moves.

Now get in there and roll the dice.
