Hi Wayne,
I understand yours and Winseer's frustration.
But, you did not lose.
All the major grains wound up limit down or nearly so.
Hindsight is wonderful, but if you look back, what was there in the charts, or trading in other markets that you think you may have missed before closing your positions ???
Be honest.
What was there, in the markets, that would have possibly given you a clue ??
Not being a smart ass here. [I also have trouble lining up the times on Dx, Cl, Grains quickly] If Dx did anything, it went down, which normally would have pushed commods priced in $$ up.
My take at the moment is that the "deep pockets" are/were expecting a jump up in Dx, Treasuries as the crap unfolds in North Africa and Middle East and they were anticipating a drop in the Major Grains.
Wouldn't a 9% increase in Cl normally push the grains "up" ?? But there is no harvesting going on now, so Crude only gets tangled in transportation costs of stocks.
Correct me. I do not know what you could possibly have detected before closing positions that would have guided you to do otherwise. It all happened very quickly, pretty much when trading resumed this morning.
Thanks, Lee
