Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 1 to 3 Lower as of 7:15 a.m. CST
24 minutes ago
Corn: The corn market recovered well off overnight lows on spillover support from the strong rallies in crude oil and soybeans, though the short-term trend remains down.
Soybeans: Renewed commercial and noncommercial buying allowed bean contracts to post solid double-digit gains Wednesday.
Wheat: Chicago wheat was an unwilling follower of the other grains Wednesday, though contracts did close 40-plus cents off session lows.
Live Cattle: As was the case with most commodities, cattle contracts rebounded strongly and posted modest gains on renewed noncommercial interest.
Cotton: The cotton market settled lower, however, strong commercial buying led contracts well off limit-down losses with the new-crop December contract posting a strong gain.
