AT&T to Buy Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile USA for $39 Billion.

I spent a lot of time teaching banks and brokerage houses how to re-configure their communications networks after the break up of AT&T in 1986 saving them tons of money. Now they seem to be at it again with the cellular network !!!

Just wait !! The land telephone lines are headed the way of the dinosaur and "traffic charges" are headed up, up, up on the cellular network. Won't be long before the Cable "dsl" follows suit. The Cable companies already have "traffic limitations" due to the "ethernet" implementations on the cable network.

Won't be long and we'll be back to 1986 paying 0.25/min for a VOIP phone call !!!

Then what happens to our fairly "low cost dsl" currently carried over the "land phone lines" that no phone company seems to want to maintain any longer.
