The Canadian Federal Government will likely fall today with a non confidence motion vote by the opposition members of Parliament. The Conservative Government is bringing down a fiscally responsible budget and the opposition refuses to accept it and wants more "spending" to take place. This will cause the government to collapse and an election will have to be called once again as they do not have a majority government and need some opposition members to vote with them on major issues like a national budget. How this will affect the Canadian dollar is anyone's guess. But everyone who could be affected by this should give it consideration if long or short related markets.
