Always referred to the "Cotton Eyed Joe" as the "Cotton Mouth Sam".

Back in the mid-seventies, through the early/mid-eighties, I had to do hard time, living in Austin. I wasn't that fond of doctors, lawyers, Indian Chiefs and commodity brokers that wore their little c'boy (that's cow boy without the "ow") boots. It was to laugh. None of them had ever stepped on to a feedlot or cow-calf operation.

They didn't take too fondly to my referring to their little dance as the cotton mouth Sam, or talking about that Jennifer Wayling and Nelson Williams guy.

It was to laugh.
