Looks like a reversion to the temperature mean for most of the lower 48 with, however, the the cold anomaly locked in place adjacent to the Great Lakes and a new cold anomaly forming in the PAC NW. Warmer to much warmer than normal conditions will return to the Southern Rocky Mountain states and west Texas after the clearance of this week's very strong cold front. Near nomal elswhere.
Incidentaly this week's cold front poses a strong risk of severe thunderstorms and some tornadoes from west Texas through Philadelphia and all points SE of a line connecting the two, through the first 1/2 of the week.
