Oh my, lol...I AM trading ECA on the TSE, because I live in Canada and it's convenient for me to do so. But the New York chart leads. It provides the purest technical picture, not the other way around, so one ignores it at their own peril.

Look, I'm obviously not going to convince you and don't care if I do, but you might want to contact both exchanges to get a better understanding of exactly how duel listed stocks trade, how the arbitrage works/is applied, and who leads whom...best of luck to you.
