Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 8 to 10 Lower as of 7:15 a.m. CDT

Corn: December corn finished modestly lower on light pressure from both sides of the market Tuesday. However, a historically low planting pace should see renewed buying interest return sooner rather than later.
Soybeans: New-crop fundamentals continue to grow more bearish as indicated by the strengthening carry in the November-to-January futures spread as talk intensifies of increased bean acreage.
Wheat: Wheat contracts at all three exchanges posted solid losses Tuesday though the poor condition of the winter wheat crop and slow spring wheat planting pace should provide strong support near-term.
Live Cattle: It was a quiet session for cattle as traders seemed to take a breather with most contracts posting slight losses on follow-through noncommercial long-liquidation.
Cotton: The cotton market settled sharply lower with old-crop contracts near limit down and new-crop issues 4-plus-cents down, largely tied to a lack of fresh buy orders.
