Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 5 to 7 Higher at 7:15 a.m.

Corn: Solid gains were posted in both old-crop and new-crop corn tied to improved export demand and continued planting delays.

Beans: In what's becoming an alarming trend, the bean market failed to hold early gains and closed lower due to a lack of noncommercial interest.

Wheat: Despite weather issues in the U.S. and Europe, wheat contracts at all three exchanges failed to post what would be considered impressive gains.

Live Cattle: Noncommercial long-liquidation led to another session of solid losses Monday as slowing demand fears grow.

Cotton: Renewed buying interest from both sides of the market allowed cotton contracts to recover a large portion of last week's losses.
