TFC Commodity Trading Forum

Hi Hal,

one of your earlier posts indicated that you were looking at the 34 SLV puts. I have traded stocks before, but not stock options. I know a little about them. I have a question you can probably answer for me. I know one contract will control 100 shares, so when I look at the options chain for SLV and see a quote of 1.72 for the July 34 put is the price (1.72x100=172)?

I am doing some pricing, but will probably be looking at Oct puts for more time. I would like to see some strength in silver before doing anything as I would like to possibley take a postion on strength.
