Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 10 to 13 Lower as of 7:15 a.m. CDT
23 minutes ago

Corn: After posting new all-time highs last week, the corn market took a breather Monday as weather forecasts are favorable for the crop that did get planted.

Soybeans: The soybean market remained in its sideways trend Monday with most traders remaining on the sideline ahead until more is known about the 2011 crop.

Wheat: Favorable precipitation fell over the weekend in Western Europe, the Ukraine and Russia leading to selling from both sides of the market Monday.

Live Cattle: After testing key support near $102, renewed buying interest from the noncommercial side allowed cattle contracts to close with solid gains.

Cotton: Selling from both commercial and noncommercial traders Monday resulted in sharp losses, though the bullish supply and demand situation remains firmly intact.
