"Man no more could change the global climate if every single soul on earth spent his entire existence trying to do such".
People don't have to try, Wayne. Global climate data and the most credible science support the idea that human activity - generally by producing CO2 at unprecedented rates - is changing the climate, or, specifically, is warming the planet. What people do with that information may be political and ideological, but the data doesn't change. Its good business to keep open to the data and not the spin. For example, statistically, the continental US is more likely this summer to experience one or more significant heat waves; more than the long-term average. These have a bunch of short-term causes, but the background is a trend to higher summertime temperatures - and especially summer overnight temperatures - observed during the last 30 years. Why so? Well, current science suggests the culprit is CO2, although urbanization has also played a role.
This data influences my trading strategy in NG. Not too much since the details of an anticipated heat wave only become evident in the short range, but it does create a bias on my part. Cheers.
