I did not say the producers look at the Thurs. EIA report to decide anything.

The point of this exercise is to determine just what they are looking at, and when to make their production decisions.
- to the best of our ability ....

That Thurs. report IS the most current measure of Supply/Demand that I can come up with. I clearly don't operate, nor have spies at all of the pipeline/storage sites.

Maybe Platts does ???

Anyway, the better you understand how the system operates, the better able to stay off the RR Tracks as Trades would say !!
