Hi Lee,
I don't know to much except what I've read. Yes we are still dry down here. The fracking process uses alot of water, but also mixes in some toxic chemicals that create a white soupy mixture to pump into the ground. This is them pumped into the ground. The articles indicated that some property is on private land that the owners lease. Some of these owners are complaing about gas in their drinking water. So far the toxic chemicals have not been showing up or surfacing. They say because its down over something like a thousand feet the chemicals will not surface. However it sounds like some enviromentalist are getting involved. The same article that Hal posted about insiders saying its not being so easy to get out of the ground was also in the Dallas Moringing News I believe yesterday as I read it.
Thats about all I know.
