I couldn't agree more. Calling a top and even being right one needs to look at what all the drawdowns would have been along the way. I've read about expensive black box trading systems that 'guarantee' success. But they don't say you may need millions in drawdowns to survive.
Your chart is a perfect example of this.
A person only needs to be held underwater for a couple of minutes before they're dead regardless of the short period of time it is.
