Today's Market View Corn Futures Expected to Open 2 to 4 Higher as of 7:15 a.m. CDT
22 minutes ago

Corn: Follow-through buying from both sides of the market in large part tied to the forecasted heat wave beginning this weekend and running into late next week sparked another sharp rally in corn futures Wednesday.

Soybeans: The sharply lower dollar and positive economic news from China allowed the July contract (in delivery, but still registering on the continuous weekly chart) to trade within pennies of the high end of its long-standing sideways range.

Wheat: Heavy noncommercial short-covering coupled with solid commercial support led Chicago wheat to the largest gains in the grain complex and resulted in the short-term trend turning up.

Live Cattle: The cattle market was unable to follow the surging lean hog market and stronger Dow Jones Industrial Average as contracts closed with slight losses on a lack of interest from either side of the market.

Cotton: Cotton finally stopped the bleeding Wednesday by posting sharp gains as the dollar continued to collapse off of Tuesday's test of key price resistance, though the trend remains firmly down.
