I get precisely the same result as when spike posted these images
putting this link

in the post Image URL box. I do not get the image, but do get the extra band over Password, Delete button ???

See what you guy's get ....

I will try doing the same thing with a link to an image on my website (but will be a jpg) and see if that works.
If that does work, then I'll put a png up there and try that .......
