I did much the same awhile back and bought this huge crock pot that was on sale so I could cook huge stews etc in them. I haven't used it yet as I couldn't eat that much stew in a month. One can of stew is more than enough now and again. Now I'm trying to figure out what else I can do with this fancy over sized crock pot. It might be good for soaking my feet in with it turned on to low or medium,lol.
