From an overnight report i get from my broker...shhhhhh i usually take it with a grain of salt...
Diminished fear/panic should arrive today which will offer more stability to the ag markets. The USDA August crop report looms on Thursday and we look for short covering to offer support going home. CME grain volume has been huge overnight with over 43,000 contracts of Dec corn and 37,700 contracts of November soybeans changing hands. NASS reported that US corn condition ratings fell 2% to 60%, spring wheat ratings fell 4% to 66%, while soybeans rose 1% to 61%. All ratings are well below last year, suggesting lower final yields.
