I'm not so sure. The weekend of the 21-23rd was cool over the NE, SE and midwest. Chicago accumulated 76 HDD from the 21-26th. Last Wed-Fri was very cold over CO and in fact all of the Rocky Mountain states down to N Texas. So this may constrain the size of this Thursday's reported injection, which (please correct me if i'm wrong) covers from last weekend up to the 28th. Cheers, CJ.
