Lagarde says Europe crisis escalating: report (by Greg Robb)

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - The European debt crisis is escalating and there must be a global response to resolve it, said Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, on Thursday, according to a report by Bloomberg News. Lagarde said the crisis must be resolved by all categories of countries, not just one group. Lagarde made the remark at an event at the State Department focusing on increasing the number of women in public service.
