But is it feasble to truck or rail LNG? The alternative is building pipelines to new-built very large liquifaction plants...and there you've got a problem because the current ROI on NG probably isn't generating enough free cash to fund big capital projects. Not to mention the lesson learned from XL/Keystone. So maybe the government should build and lease back to the operators.
