I had forgotten how pricey the RBOB futures were and the low trading volume. I think Silverbear had mentioned that the low volume is what kept him away, leaning more to Crude.
Yes, NJ gets a break on gasoline prices - probably a horse trade with all of the refineries over by Linden/Newark ....
We even still have gas station attendants to pump the gas [I think Oregon still does also].
BUTTTT.... Things are changing. Price at pump has gone up 3 times in the last week or 10 days.
Was around 3.16 now about 3.36 or more. Kerosene is up to about 4.95 !!!!
I became "Kerosene heater literate" years ago when we started renting the ski house in Vt. and it had Electric heat from the Carter era !!!!
Here, I keep 5 gal. on hand for power outages and it sure came in handy for that Halloween outage that lasted 6 days !!!!
No reason for the high price of crude. We are being milked by the sand people and wall street !!!
