I agree Wayne, if MF Global took the money and made trades on it and the other side of the trade ended up with the money because they were on the winning side of the trade, it would be very difficult to claw it back. Then again if MF broke the law and it was stolen money, it may be difficult not very difficult to claw it back. If someone buys a painting or some jewlery not knowing they were stolen, and then later its found out it was stolen don't they have to give it back? Seems I read in the paper every now and then about some art work that the German's took in WWII that is found and has to be given back to an original owner, or family member, or museum.
Lets see if John Corzine is Teflon John and nothing sticks, or becomes like John Gotti the Teflon Don and goes to the "Big House". Unless they find a smoking gun (email, memo, phone records, an informant, etc...) he may just become Teflon John instead of the Teflon Don.
