Ensembles for early April indicate generally above average temperatures east of the Divide, and near average west, except below average over the Pacific NW and near normal over W Texas.
This week brings strong storms running onto the the NW coast bringing heavy mountains snows and cool conditions from central CA north. A cutoff low will exit the central E coast early, but a fairly vigorous cold front will bring a temporary shot of winter to the NE tomorrow. Cool conditions will moderate thru the week. Very warm and breezy over the central and southern plains this week. but relatively quiet weather for a change. Given that next Thursday's NG numbers will take much of last week's heatwave of the east into account, there should be another net injection reported this week, as much as 50 bcf. Rig count numbers continue to decline but production so far looks to be stabilizing, not declining.
