Interesting post. Your logic is sound. I agree that falling NG prices should put those Ammonia plants back on line (would take a while) and reduce net input cost to the US farmer. The US could become a net exporter again (currently we import at least half of our fertilizer needs). As you may have noticed in the past, I am not a fan of phosphate use. Sustainable farming needs to be implemented now....or we will pay with ALL of are soil.
