Just thought I'd tell you about an American that sailed into Canadian waters on the West Coast into a local harbour. He was acting as a captain with a dozen guests on this 80 ft yacht and was asked by Canadian Border Services if he had any firearms. He of course said 'nope' and of course the Canadian Border Patrol thought "does a bear shit in the woods". So they searched his boat and found an AR-15 loaded and ready with plenty of ammo around. He was arrested and jailed overnight and fined $7500 plus had to pay Border Services another $3500 fine. Made for a very expensive AR-15. I don't know why they are so hard on Americans as they know damn well they are going to have firearms a huge percentage of the time as it's legal in the U.S. to do this. Even little old ladies coming up here carry guns. And I'm sure they are all 'good ole' boys' and wouldn't hurt a fly. (other than major underworld crime types) Plus one never know when pirates are going to attack right,lol....................
