Natural gas trades lower after supply report (by Claudia Assis)
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures went back to red Thursday after gains following an inventories report were short-lived. Natural gas for June delivery (s: ngm12) was off 2 cents, or 0.9%, to $2.444 per million British thermal units. It traded at $2.455 before the report, and it ticked higher immediately after. The Energy Information Administration reported an increase in inventories by 30 billion cubic feet for the week ended May 4, in line with expectations.
