Hi Tricky, All

I think something should be cleared up !!!!

Margin requirements are NOT THERE TO PROTECT THE TRADER.

They are there to protect the broker/Exchange. To give them time to close you out if things go against the client/trader.

Let's not fiddle f around, brokers/exchanges exist to make money. To do/justify that they must perform a service. They do not give a hoot about the welfare of the client/customer/trader beyond keeping them happy and on board as long as possible to continue "making money".
