Re: I thought this was a forum to share ideas?

Amen. Thats the way Kitco became. Had a lot of what are called Trolls. Not really there to add anything. Just to disagree with everything and everyone.

Note however, that disagreeing is not the issue. Disagreeing should be part of the knoweldge transfer process. Learn the other person's point of view and see if it helps you as a devils advocate to what you are seeing. Or maybe it changes focus. Its when it becomes personal to someone you don't even know, is when it stinks.

We have all kinds of people here. But basically day traders, mid term, and long term traders, options traders. I day trader may see that something is about to pop or not pop in the next few hours. And will criticize someone who may be looking at something on a weekly chart and not a 5 minute chart. In some cases just need to try and undestand the strategy of a particular user before
slamming.

The above does happen. However the majority of the nonsense comes from the Trolls. On the sports forums they are there to put down all the homers for their teams. If the football team wins the Super Bowl, the trolls will still write that they were lucky and didnt win by enough.

So write what you want here. And those who want to learn and share info can continue. You just have to ignore the Trolls. If you give them an audience they continue. If you ignore they go away because they no longer get attention.

Simple as that.

Now about that US Dollar....:-) I wish it would make up its mind already. Its going up here slowly but on very low volume. Same for the Euro down even with bad bias that is showing up in the news now. Both currently moving their respective ways on low volume. Seems like the dollar still wants to touch 81 and the Euro 1.26, those weekly touch points. However some news here could certainly prevent that and truncate (in ewave speak) them both in their tracks in this low volume sideways scenario.

But watching it like paint drying....zzzzzzz
