Hi Limitup,
This is from your respones "TODAY" to my general question on "corn/beans" of last Monday.
(see below, but really won't add anything at this point in time).
"Once again the USDA underestimates the disaster. The world will starve without cutting back ethanol production. "
Here, I assume you are referring to "TODAY's Crop report" ??? Yes/No ???
I observe that both Sx and Cz markets fell off today .....
Are you suggesting that the USDA painted a "better than realistic" picture of crop condition " ???
And, that the Sx and Cz futures may have fallen off today as a result ????
You then mentioned "Ethanol production" .... I will do a seperate post on that since it is a subject that I think worthy of discussion. A few years back we had some "healthy" Ethanol discussions on the Forum, and I for one, would like to see all Ethanol requirements "just go away" !!!!
I do not see that "Ethanol production" has a direct bearing on the "validity" of the USDA Crop report.
Thanks Lee
For reference:
[for completeness here is link to that post/question, but it only asked for your general thoughts on those markets at that time ]
