I dearly loved his sock, filled with margin call money, down in his "hidy (sp?) hole").
Was it wheat or King Cotton?
BTW: Anyone remember that market guru that kept calling for feeders to go to twenty year lows, when they were trading upper sixties to lower seventies? His prognostications were (probably STILL are, assuming he's still alive) were the absolute best fades. I mean multi millions woulda/coulda/shoulda/hadda oughta been made fading him.
Sometimes he would claim that he was too young to have served in WWII, then he'd post an age that was older than my father's (may he rest in peace) who served in the Pacific Theater (first wave of assault, Battle of Saipan ... 7% survival rate) ...
In any event, do you remember this incredibly naive, towards the markets, past poster?
I believe he went by some single initial.
