It will be interesting to see how it breaks. From a supply/demand perspective there are shortages in the North East due to capacity limitations. Utilities in New England have turned on coal plants and even oil fired stations without reducing their NG draw as the pipelines and pumping stations are at limit. Forecasts indicate a cold weekend in the NE followed by a 2.5 day warm up and then back into the ice box. Next week's report of draw downs may be the biggest in years. So prices should be moving up in the short run...but they are not. Perhaps early next week when estimates of next Thursday's EIA report come out.
