a quick ps- working on course material today and I get an email. It's from a guy I met in a coffee shop a few weeks ago. He was staring at a hourly yen chart, so I asked him what he was doing. He said he was learning to trade. I could tell he didn't know very much by the charts he was running. So I asked him for his email and sent him a copy of my book. Not for any other reason than why the f not.

Anyway he replied today with the following

"I've read your entire book, and re-read several parts. Your discussions of trader psychology/human nature are the most coherent and complete I've seen. I also really liked the coin tosses; I've read a lot about "risk management" but having it demonstrated in such a way seems most useful."

True story. Maybe he makes it...maybe not. But he's a step ahead now.
